Major Tournaments

Karate Queensland conducts three major tournaments each year:

Queensland Cup: a one-day tournament.

Queensland State Titles: a one-day tournament, from which the State representative team is selected.

Queensland Open: a one-day tournament held on 31 May 2025 at Paul Bancroft Sports Centre at Cleveland State High School.

We also support regional and association-run events across Queensland.

Also of Interest: The Oceania Championships in Nouméa are scheduled around the same time. While registration for that event is not managed by Karate Queensland, you can learn more about it here.

The AKF Events Page is also available for other national and international competitions.
