Karate Queensland is hosting its annual Coaching Update Day, which provides a simple and effective way for coaches to get their annual professional development requirement (6 hours) completed in one interesting and informative session, and which also allows you to engage and interact with the team that is the QKA Coaches.
This year will be an exciting update day as it will follow a slightly different structure – more hands on and more engaging. With such a positive response to last year’s guest presenters, they have agreed to a follow up presentation that will extend and develop the material they presented in 2019.
Victoria Waterworth is a Nidan in both Shotokan and Shitoryu and has competed and medalled internationally as a Canadian National Karate athlete. She holds a Doctorate in Physiotherapy and works very closely with Adam Walker, the founder of Performance GC on the Gold Coast. Both Victoria and Adam will be conducting a ‘hands on’ styled presentation that will allow coaches the opportunity to actively participate in the workshop.
