The QKA Coaching Update Day was held on the 17th November 2013 at the Southbank Institute (H Block). Keynote Speaker was Olympic Gold Medallist and Qld Olympic Council President, Natalie Cook. We also had Dr David Lloyd from the Griffith University School of Sports Science, discussing “Prehab” (Preventative Exercises for Sports Specific Injuries).
The Australian Karate Federation and the QKA conducted a Bronze Coaching Course in Brisbane on November 2nd & 3rd, 2013. National Coaching Director, Pam Smith conducted the course with the assistance of State Coaching Director, Glenn Irvine. Eleven Coaches attended the course.
